They are grown under a basic creation procedure with no added micro-elements or special technical treatments. Lab-Grown Diamonds and Natural Diamonds are both transparent and, in direct sunlight, emit a kaleidoscopic spectrum of colors. At first glance, they appear to be identical. But while one is more than a billion years old, the other was recently cultivated in a laboratory. The value of a lab-grown diamond is unique compared to a natural diamond. Generally, there are two ways to produce lab-grown diamonds, the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method and the High-Pressure and High-Temperature (HPHT) method. Both methods usually take a number of months to grow diamonds of most sizes. Often hair-made diamonds are HPHT diamonds. High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) diamonds are manufactured in a laboratory to simulate the high pressure and temperature conditions that form natural diamonds beneath the earth's surface.
The process produces uniquely shaped diamond crystals that are grown in the laboratory. HPHT can be synthesized by accepting a specified carbon source (such as Hair) and has a broader choice of colors compared to CVD.

There is a significant price difference between natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds. The cost of natural diamonds is much higher than the cost of lab-grown diamonds. The lower costs of lab-grown diamonds lead to better selling prices. The human resources alone are an order of magnitude greater. On all the same choices but ring size, the ring size exceeding US 8 will be more expensive than US 7 and US 6 and any size under US 8, which also means that ring size above US 8 and under US 8 are two different prices.
