The carat is the weight of the diamond. The larger the diamond, the more difficult it is to make the diamond, and the higher its value. The same rules apply to diamonds in engagement rings. This also affects the price. Due to their difficulty, large diamonds are often extremely valuable. As a result, their price does not change linearly but exponentially with weight.
Fancy-colored diamonds are always a luxury in the diamond world. 99.9% of all mined diamonds are white meaning that only 0.01% are colored diamonds. This rarity explains why colored diamonds are so valuable. That also applies to Lab-created diamonds, and the colors will bring additional production costs. Just choose from any of our color options, or simply go colorless.
A diamond's cut can affect its beauty more than anything else. The different brilliance that shines in the same light is greater than any compliment. We offer ten different cuts, and at Sunny Eden™, the beauty and wisdom of craftsmanship have been passed down through the ages and generations, so you can find any classic diamond style.
Explanations of Diamond Prices
The price of Sunny Eden™ Diamond from Hair includes the diamond itself as well as the costs of any necessary steps during the process.
Why is it more expensive than normal lab-grown diamonds?
Different from other lab grown diamonds that are mass produced, Sunny Eden™ Diamonds are totally customized, and made from your hair. It’s a unique treasure specially for you. What’s more, turning hair into a diamond comprises serial laboratory procedures from element analysis, carbon extraction, HPHT crystallization and post-production cutting and polishing. This customization process requires special equipment, which leads to the difference in price.
Why do prices vary for different colors?
Colorless or white diamonds are the most basic color option for all lab-grown diamonds from hair. They are grown under a basic creation procedure with no added micro-elements or special technical treatments. The production costs and time for colorless lab-grown diamonds are the lowest, making them the most popular option.
For Sunny Yellow, Eden Green, Sky Blue, and Rose Pink, to get each of these colors, we use different technologies in different steps, so the cost and time are not the same for creating lab-grown diamonds in various colors.

About Sunny Eden™ Lab-Grown Diamond From Hair
The best value and price of hair-grown diamonds.
-
Lab-Grown Diamonds and Natural Diamonds are both transparent and, in direct sunlight, emit a kaleidoscopic spectrum of colors. At first glance, they appear to be identical. But while one is more than a billion years old, the other was recently cultivated in a laboratory. The value of a lab-grown diamond is unique compared to a natural diamond. Making a diamond out of your hair or that of your loved one represents your love story, which is meaningful and romantic. -
Generally, there are two ways to produce lab-grown diamonds, the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method and the High-Pressure and High-Temperature (HPHT) method. Both methods usually take a number of months to grow diamonds of most sizes. Often hair-made diamonds are HPHT diamonds. High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) diamonds are manufactured in a laboratory to simulate the high pressure and temperature conditions that form natural diamonds beneath the earth's surface.
The process produces uniquely shaped diamond crystals that are grown in the laboratory. HPHT can be synthesized by accepting a specified carbon source (such as Hair) and has a broader choice of colors compared to CVD.
-
There is a significant price difference between natural diamonds and lab-grown diamonds. The cost of natural diamonds is much higher than the cost of lab-grown diamonds. The lower costs of lab-grown diamonds lead to better selling prices. The human resources alone are an order of magnitude greater. It takes enormous labor and resources to unearth a treasure, which means the price of a natural diamond is considerable.
Fancy colored diamonds have always been a luxury because 99.9% of all mined diamonds are white, while only 0.01% are colored diamonds, which are very expensive because of their rarity. But colored diamonds grown in the laboratory can provide a more affordable price.
The diamonds grown in the laboratory are exactly the same as the diamonds mined. They are only made under the high pressure, high temperature of the laboratory, not in the depths of the earth. Lab-grown diamonds are evaluated by the five C's (carat, cut, color, certificate and clarity) just like natural diamonds. Still, even so, the price difference is said to be 30-40% lower than natural diamonds.
Diamond Price
The cost of turning hair into a diamond includes all necessary services in the hair to diamond process. The price consists of carbon purification, hair diamond creation, cutting and polishing, certification of origin, sealing containers, packing, and international shipping.
The diamond price depends on the 5Cs(cut, color, clarity, carat, certificate). Sunny Eden™ provides you with Clearly Colorless, Sunny Yellow, Rose Pink, Sky Blue, and Eden Green lab-grown diamonds. Diamond price starts from an amazingly low price of $ 2000 / 0.5ct for a Clearly Colorless diamond. If your requested diamond sizes were not on the pricing list, don't hesitate to contact our customer relations department to make the specific size for you.
Jewelry Price
Apart from the diamond cost, the engagement ring price depends on the shape, metal, and metal weight. We provide you with a wide range of ring designs with different metals and styles, or you can come with your ideas or a sketch of your dream ring.
The metal we have chosen is the best 18 karat gold and Platinum on the market, selected and assembled with the best diamond color combination. 18 karat gold (equal to 75% pure gold content) offers a perfect balance between durability and purity. When it comes to platinum, we make our engagement rings with Pt 950, which is 95% pure platinum and 5% alloys. Platinum can perfectly set off the brilliance of diamonds, and with a higher density than any other precious metal, platinum is ideal for jewelry that’s worn on a daily basis. It is also the best choice for those with allergies.

FAQs on Sunny Eden™ Diamond Prices And Costs

The manufacturing cost for pink, blue and green colored diamonds are relatively higher than diamonds with yellow tone, and so is the price. FAQS
On Sunny Eden™ jewelry diamond and costs
-
Most people feel confused about the budget when choosing diamonds, but Sunny Eden won’t allow for this dilemma. We sincerely recommend lab-grown diamonds for your engagement rings due to the more affordable price than natural diamonds, especially colored ones. Pick a solitaire style without pave around the main diamond, and it’s simple but classic. Or you can choose smaller diamonds with halo which makes the main diamond look larger. For more creative design, contact our personal consultants to customize your engagement ring. -
The 1.0-carat diamond used to be the most desired size chosen for engagement rings, however, more recently we are seeing this shift towards a slightly larger stone, with couples choosing diamonds averaging 1.25 to 1.50 carats. The most common finger sizes are between US 4 – US 7 and diamonds ranging between 0.5ct – 1.5ct would look perfectly fine on these finger sizes. Diamonds below 0.50ct would look small. Whether you would like a bigger or smaller size, it’s always a good choice for your engagement.

Making a ring larger will almost always cost more than making it smaller because there are extra costs for added materials. On all the same choices but ring size, the ring size exceeding US 8 will be more expensive than US 7 and US 6 and any size under US 8, which also means that ring size above US 8 and under US 8 are two different prices. You can check here for reference based on your own choice.
